Our love story
We met on top of a mountain, quite literally, at the start of the Drakensberg Chain Ladders hike. We were in separate groups, but our paths crossed when our groups started chatting while waiting for the rain to clear. After the hike, we met again at the Spur in Harrismith, and decided to keep the friendship going back in Joburg.
We became good friends pretty quickly and spent the next year getting to know each other, sharing adventures, long conversations, plenty of laughs, and a few of life's less glamorous moments. Eventually, we decided to see what might happen if we took things a little further.
Since then, we've built a life together that we love. It's full of adventure, road trips, good coffee, our cats, family, friends, and plenty of deep conversations. We're still happiest when we're exploring somewhere new, and we still try to find a mountain to climb whenever we can.
